How do I order a Crixa Cake?

If you want a particular type of cake on a particular day, we ask that you place an advance order.

Only whole cakes from our Advance Order and Birthday Cake menus can be advance ordered.

Only whole cakes from our New Years Advance Order Menu can be ordered for pickup Tuesday and Wednesday December 30 and 31 and Friday January 2.

6-inch and 9-inch Cakes

• Advance orders for 6-inch and 9-inch cakes must be placed at least 2 days in advance, and no later than noon. We recommend placing your order early for best selection.


• We require a 50% deposit on all 6-inch and 9-inch cake advance orders.


• Deposits are non-refundable for orders canceled within 2 day production window.

12-inch Cakes, Pavlovas, and Large Orders

• Advance orders for 12-inch cakes and large advance orders must be placed at least 4 days in advance, and no later than noon. We recommend placing your order early for best selection.


• We require full payment on all 12-inch cake, pavlova, and large advance orders.


• Payment is non-refundable for orders canceled within 4 day production window.

Cupcakes

• Advance orders for cupcakes must be placed at least 4 days in advance, and no later than noon. We recommend placing your order early for best selection.


• Minimum order: Standard-size - 12, Large-size - 10


• Quantities: Standard-size - 12x, Large-size - 10x


• Maximum number of cupcakes per advance order: Standard-size - 48, Large-size - 50


• We require full payment on all cupcake advance orders.


• Payment is non-refundable for orders canceled within 4 day production window.

Availability of cakes with fresh fruit may be limited due to fruit quality.

Cake advance orders for delivery require full payment.

How do I order a Crixa Pie?

If you want a particular type of pie on a particular day, we ask that you place an advance order.

• Only whole pies from our Advance Order Menu can be ordered.


• Only whole pies from our New Years Advance Order Menu can be ordered for pickup Tuesday and Wednesday December 30 and 31 and Friday January 2.


• Our pies vary according to season and from week to week, depending upon availability and quality of ingredients.


• Advance orders for pies must be placed at least 24 hours in advance, and no later than noon. We recommend placing your order early for best selection.


• Earliest pick-up time for pies is 11:30 AM.


• Daily Special pie by the slice - maximum of 4 slices per customer.


• We require a 50% deposit on all pie orders.


• Deposits and payments are non-refundable for orders canceled within 24 hour production window.


• Pie orders for delivery require full payment.

We are no longer taking Advance Orders for Tuesday December 23 through Saturday December 27.

Only whole pies from our New Years Advance Order Menu can be ordered for pickup Tuesday and Wednesday December 30 and 31 and Friday January 2.

San Francisco Bay Area Delivery

Crixa Cakes orders for $40 and greater can be delivered to most San Francisco Bay Area addresses by courier same day rush delivery service.

For delivery addresses in Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito and Oakland:

$35 Flat Rate

For delivery addresses in San Francisco:

$40 Flat Rate

For delivery addresses in other San Francisco Bay Area cities:

$35 Minimum | $3.50 Per Mile

You can use Google Maps to estimate the distance from our Berkeley location to your delivery address.

These rates are for weekday (Tuesday to Friday) pick-up from our Berkeley address between 11:00 AM and 4:45 PM. Add 50% to standard rates for orders for pick-up from our Berkeley address after 4:45 PM weekdays and all day weekends and holidays.

Please note: we will not be providing delivery service for Wednesday November 26 Thanksgiving Day orders.
