Full-Time Retail Bakery Cafe Pastry Cook Position

Crixa Cakes has a Full-Time Pastry Cook position available in our Berkeley, California bakery and cafe.

We are looking for a disciplined and hard-working team member who will grow with our company. This position's duties include preparation and finishing of cakes, pies, pastries, cookies and desserts. Initial schedule will be 32 hours a week.

Minimum requirements to be considered for this position are:

• Two years of professional cooking or baking production experience. Six months of professional cooking or baking school may be substituted for required production experience.


• Excellent manual dexterity and math skills.


• Must be able to produce large volumes with consistent quality.


• Must be ServSafe certified and have strong standards of cleanliness.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay range of $12 to $15 an hour, based on experience
